Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. You may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by info@desoapboutique.com within 14 days of delivery for a refund (less shipping and handling). Unfortunately, we cannot cover the cost of shipping.

If a cancellation is sent within 24 hours of purchase time, we can guarantee cancelling the order. Any cancellation request made after 24 hours we cannot guarantee although we will still try.

Returns are meant for customers that originally wanted to cancel their order but were unable to due to the product being shipped out. With that, we will not accept any returns that have been opened and not in original packing.

We do not accept returns or exchanges due to sizing issues unless we mistakenly shipped you a size other than the size you ordered.

You should expect to receive your refund within 7-10 business days of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.

We do not offer refunds or replacements when customers enter the wrong shipping address. Unfortunately, this is something beyond our control. You and only you are responsible for the shipping address you provide. We use an automated system that copies and pastes exactly what you list as your shipping address. With that, we cannot accept any responsibility for customers listing incorrect information. No refunds or replacements will be given. In this situation I would advise you to contact your post office as soon as possible for guidance.

Receiving your Refund

We’ll process a refund after we receive and process your returned product(s). For returned product(s) expect your refund within 2-14 days of giving your package to the return shipper (though in many cases you’ll receive the refund sooner).

This time period includes:

  • 2-7 business days for us to receive your return from the shipper
  • 1-2 business days for us to process your return
  • The time it takes your bank to process our refund request

We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.

Exchanges

If you received a faulty or incomplete item and need to exchange it for the same item, contact us to request a replacement. If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, please return the original (you will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item) and place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order. Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@desoapboutique.com 

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@desoapboutique.com

Shipping

To return your product email us at info@desoapboutique.com for shipping location.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
